2000 Land Rover Discovery V8
Introduced in 1990 the Discovery was designed to bridge the widening gap between the Landrover Defender models and the increasingly up market Range Rover. The Series 2 came along in 1999 updating the model but retaining the original cars styling cues of the single piece rear door and 'safari' windows in the roof. This well cared for example was first registered by Marshall Land Rover in Cambridge, probably as a demonstator and then sold just under a year later to its first private owner in who's care it covered just under 50,000 miles, we purchased the car in late 2007. Presented in dark metalic blue with grey 1/2 leather trim both the exterior and interior are in very good condition, comensurate with the low mileage. The cars specification includes: 4.0 litre V8 coupled to an automatic gear box with 'sport' mode, traction control, hill descent control, ACES (automatic corner enhancement) active suspension, self leveling rear air suspension, twin sunroofs, electric windows, air conditioning, Pioneer in dash CD/DVD/navigation system with motorised touch screen, 7 seats (all with forward facing with diagonal belts), 19' Range Rover Sport alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres (the original wheels/tyres are available with the car).
These cars are extremely capable transport for up to 7 people either on the road or off!
